Simply: add every digit of your birth date, and if the total is greater than 22, add its digits again. For example, someone born on 14 February 1990: 1+4+0+2+1+9+9+0 = 26, then 2+6 = 8 — their birth card is Strength. A total of exactly 22 gets The Fool, the card numbered 0.
